LOGBOOK Troubleshooting Tips
- * No work of automatic
log update
- Make
sure that “LOGBOOK.INI” file has correct EAW savedata
folder.
- Open
it by text editor, and check it. It has to contain EAW savedata
folder (containg
- careerxx.sve)
name as follow:
- ex)
c:\European Air War\savedata
- * Can't
see the clip icon though a comment be attached
- (After
using "WRITE LOGBOOK" menu in version 2.00)
- Bug summary: After you use "WRITE LOGBOOK" for manual logbook update,
- if you attach a
comment in a pilot's logbook and view another pilot's logbook
- in LOGBOOK menu
and then return to the pilot's logbook in which you just
- attached a comment, you
will not show the clip icon though your comment
- would be saved in file.
- Bug solution(temporary):
Simply, if you don't see the clip icon though you
- attach the comment before,
exit LOGBOOK menu and enter LOGBOOK menu
- again pleasse. Then you will see the
clip icon.
- Sorry for this inconvenience a little while.
I will post the patch file as
quickly.
- * No work of auomatic
log update just after install (version 2.0)
- Bug
summary: Although you have
finished one misson after you just installed,
- Logbook
would not update the logbook or create the logbook for your
squadron.
- The
bug was caused by logbook's sample log file for preview
purpose.
- (contained
./Log/0 in version 1.0 and ./Log/100 in version 2.0)
- The
sample file would pre-define EAW main folder as the sample
information.
- (This
bug submitted by Stephen O'Leary, thanks for
your feedback)
- Bug
solution: 1. At first, exit
Logbook progrram
- 2.
Delete the sample logbook for preview purpose.
- 3.
Delete the "logbook.ini"
- 4.
Restart logbook.exe
- 5.
When showing the "Choose the EAW folder" window,
- choose
your main EAW folder
- (Note
: example correct selection of EAW main folder
)
