Eazy-E Biography
Compton California is a small suburb of Los Angeles a place know for its vast history of rags to riches stories.  Compton has emerged from being just another surrounding area of Los Angeles to one of the countries well know cities.  That fact is attributed to the music which Compton helped give birth to and make so famous.  Gangsta Rap has developed into money making enterprise.  One of the artist responsible for making this area of music so spectacular is Eazy-E, a gangsta rapper whos claim to fame was not the music but in the way he presented it.  With a career that would almost spand a decade.  Eazy became the mark of excellence in gangsta rap but with all sucsess come a price.  Eazy would rise above many obstacles that would kill an average person.  Born Eric Wrightin 1964, Eazy grew up with the same hopes and dreams as most young men from an improvised background.  He wanted to make it big no matter what he had to do to get it.  Dealing drugs to make a living, Eazy finally did something positive with the money that was leading to the bloodshed on the streets.  He took a portion of his earnings and formed a rap lable called Ruthless Records.  The attempt to start his rap empire didn't prve good until up and coming artist Ice Cube and Dr. Dre began to write for the lable which then lead to the formation of N.W.A. Niggaz With Attitude. They then brought in 1 more mebers D.J Yella to form the Worlds Most Dangerous Group.  N.W.A's debut album N.W.A and the Posse was a party oriented jam record that largly went ignored upon it's 1987 release. In the following year the group added MC REN and revamped thier sounds.  Late in 1988 N.W.A delivered Straight Outta Compton a vicious hardcore record that became an underground hit with virtually no support from the radio the press or MTV.  N.W.A became notorious for there hardcore lyrics as in the song Fuck Tha Police which resulted in the FBI sending a warning letter to and its parent company suggesting that the group should watch their step.  Ice Cube departed N.W.A in late 1989 because of financial disagreements.  A Nasty feud between N.W.A and Ice Cube began that would culminate with Ice Cube doing the song No Vaseline an attack on the groups management released on his 1991 album Death Certificate.  By The Time the Album was released N.W.A was finished.  Eazy and the rest of the crew would go onto release 2 more albums 100 Miles and Runnin in 1990 and Niggaz 4 Life the following year.  After Dr. Dre left N.W.A a feud between Eazy and Dre began.  Eazy had released a solo album in 1988 called Eazy-Duz-It.  Eazy The released a cd titled It's On (Dr.Dre) 187um Killa which was released late 1993.  In 1995 the hip hop nation was struck with alarming news.  In a publicized statement Eazy annouced he had conntracted HIV the virus that caused AIDS.  One month after making the annoucment Eazy sucummed to the disease at a local hospital in Los Angeles.  He was 31 years old at the time of his death.  Befor his death he made amends with Dr. Dre and Ice Cube.  After his death there was 2 other Eazy-E Cd's released titled Eternal E in 1996 and Straight Of Tha Streetz Of Muthapuckkin Compton in 1996.
