The Quest for the Caravaggios
Our quest in Rome, at the behest of Keith, was to view all the Caravaggio paintings we could.  In Rome, there were 3 at the Galleria Borghese, 2 at Santa Maria del Popolo, .  Later, I saw 3 more while visiting the Uffizi in Firenze., Bacchus, the Sacrifice of Isaac, and the Medusa, which was painted on a shield.

Michelangelo Merisi (1571 - 1610) took the name of his hometown in Italy, Caravaggio
Sacrifice of Isaac
Walking the hiking trail between Vernazza and Corniglia, gives you some beatuiful views.  Corniglia is seen in the distance.
Early afternoon required some relaxation and pick-me-up.  Artists don't always use paint...
After a leisurely walk to the top of the hill in Vernazza.
