My new toy is a 1982 C3 Coupe. 59,000 original miles in Dark Claret
Metallic with Dark Red leather interior.
Power comes from a fuel injected L-83 350 cubic inch small block rated
@ 200 HP and 265 ft lbs torque. Not powerful by todays standards but
the most powerful Chevy available in 1982.
Loaded with all options it came equipped with power windows, power
door locks, power side mirrors, power drivers seat, rear defogger and
cruise control. It also has the optional silver tinted glass T-Tops,
digital am/fm cassette and polished aluminum wheels.
The picture was taken after bringing it home for the first time. The
original paint has all of the normal rock chips that a 22 year old car
gets in 59,000 miles but is in remarkable shape considering.
1982 was the last year for the "shark" body styling that began in 1968.
