This little gadget is Top Down Technologies, Window Valet. It
plugs into the computer port beneath the dash. Total
installation time 5 seconds. It allows you to configure the
door locks so that both doors unlock when the A4 trans is
put in park instead of having to remove the key to unlock
them.

It also allows multiple configurations for RAP (retained
accessory power) and has a High Speed Recall feature that
will recall the fastest speed the car has been driven. A Panic
Mode that locks the speedometer at 40 mph and the tach at 0
even sitting still with the engine running. (this mode could
possibly be useful for pleading ignorance to an officer trying
to give you a speeding ticket. "Look officer, my speedometer
and tach are broken". : )

It also allows the windows to be rolled up or down with the
keyfob remote. Handy for Vert owners, shutting the hatch on
a coupe or venting hot air from the interior when
approaching the car in summer heat.
