Compulsory Education was really Dewey's legacy in contributing to the conditioning of our young people to accept the atrocities of industry, sanctioned by the garbage in scriptures saying humans have the right to subdue the earth and have dominion over others. I call such scriptures garbage because they were obviously rewritten by those in power in order to fabricate a divine sanction for profitable evils. Once speciesism is accepted, so is every atrocity against other creatures, ala Genesis 9: 2-3:

"The fear and the dread of you shall be upon all the beasts of the earth and upon all the birds of the sky--everything with which the earth is astir--and upon all the fish of the sea; they are given into your hand. Every creature that lives shall be yours to eat; as with the green grasses, I give you all these." Genesis 9: 2-3

   We understand that racism leads to atrocities against blacks, indigenous people, and other minorities, that sexism leads to battered women, that bigotry against homosexuals leads to hate crimes.  We have not yet, as a people, seen, or at least admitted, the evils of speciesism.  And speciesism is really one of the main points that is made in the Compulsory Education agenda.

   Our educational systems, generally speaking, with a few exceptions, teach students that it is not only permissible, but that humans have a divine right to exploit nature and its creatures. Our educational systems are a manifestation of Mammon par excellence. "You cannot serve both God and Mammon."

   Those who contribute to industries that exploit, enslave, displace, oppress, and kill other creatures manifest the way of Mammon, or Wealth, and not Divinity.
