What is Soap Box Café?

Soap Box Café is a place you can have fun and hang out in a drug and alcohol free environment.

What is there fun to do?

There is skateboarding, a band, basketball, free coffee and soda, and if you have any questions about God we try to answer them for you.

Bands

There are mostly bands from around the area that play at the Soap Box Café. All the bands are unique some of bands are punk, others are praise. They are really fun.

Basketball

There is a guy named Ben and he is just dying to play you, and beat you, at basketball. Inside the Soap Box Café there is a basketball hoop. There is only one so you have to take the ball back to half court whenever you steal the ball from the other team. It is fun when we have so many people that nobody can keep the teams straight. If you come Ben will be so happy.

Bouncers

There are usually about two adults that are there to keep everyone safe. These guys have volunteered their time and being a bouncer is not the best job on the world. The bouncers are really great guy just doing their job. If you have any questions these men can try and help you. Please be nice to them.

Coffee and soda

All drinks that we have at the Soap Box Café are free. We have Lots!! of soda. For coffee drinkers we have coffee that is very good. We have diffrent flavors. We hope that you are satisfied.

First what is the God Box? The God Box is a box where you can place your questions about religion, God, death, and any thing that is on your mind.

How to get there

The Soap Box Café is held at Glen Burnie Evangelical Presbyterian Church on the last Saturday of every month. Here is how there you get there very from Marley Station Mall. When you turn out the parking lot of the mall turn left. When you come to the intersection with the North County Library on your right and Value City on your left turn left again. You should be on Aquahart Road. If you aren’t you are lost. Keep going on. When you come to another intersection go straight. The Church is right next to a Texaco and has a big cross on the front of it.

The ramps

A man named Mr. Don has made some really cool ramps for skateboarder, trick bikes, I even seen some scooters. It is fun just watching people trying to kill themselves.
