Very frequently animals are endowed with visual mediumnity. To frighten them, the spirits of the Inferior Astral produce all sorts of bodies, including those of enraged animals. The image on the left shows a prancing horse whose owner believes it to be acting up. Actually the fright experienced by the horse was caused by its visual mediumnity which gave the horse the idea that the (fluidic) snake was going to attack it. The rider could not see the snake because he is not a visual medium and came short of being violently thrown off the horse's back. Such incidents can be avoided when riders are aware of incorporeal life and prepare themselves by a mental cleansing before travelling. In this way they avoid being disturbed by mischievous spirits when travelling. | |

Many tragedies result from bad astral attendance. The picture on the left shows one such example.. The animal trainer entered the cage in a resentful mood after a quarrel with a co-worker. He could not conceal his hatred, and thus became victim of his own feelings. The spirits of the Inferior Astral are everywhere, awaiting a chance to associate with those whose feelings are in tune with their own. They form phalanxes and do their utmost to promote the disincarnation of people with whom they have affinitive thoughts, so that the latter will join their ranks after disincarnation. | |

In lack of better concerns, the spirits of the Inferior Astral devise ways and means to bring about misfortune to the incarnate. In the picture on the left, two hunters are seen. The one in the background does not see the one in front, who is concealed by the foliage. The position of the latter enables a spirit of the Inferior Astral to place itself at the level of the hunter's head, posing as a wild animal. In this way his companion may be deceived and shoot it he happens to be a visual medium. Many fatal cases like this have occurred. |
