When the body is asleep, the spirit moves away with its animistic body, to which it is connected. The latter, in turn, is connected to the physical body by means of animistic cords. These cords are disconnected only when death (disincarnation) occurs. During sleep the spirit goes wherever its thoughts lead it, and the animistic cords are steched, without breaking or pulling, always maintaining the connection between the fluidic body and the physical body. Not only does the spirit not sleep, but it also vibrates ceaselessly. It does not need rest because fatigue pertains to matter, not to spirit. The withdrawal of the spirit from the physical body, together with the fluidic body, is called disembodiment.

When spouses allow the venom of adultery to penetrate their subconscious, they become the prey of the Inferior Astral which delights in seeing them separated, disunited, and inclined to mutual rejection. In this state of mind, as soon as they fall asleep, their spirits follow opposite paths towards the places where they find the objects of their attraction, pleasure, or satisfaction. Such objects match the wordly tendencies aroused by the inferior spirits which are shown on the left in the form of black balls. This couple failed to cultivate the enobling feelings of love, respect and affection because of their lack of concern for the spiritual meaning of life and their marital duties and responsibilities.

At night, in the absence of solar rays, certain beneficial, healing fluids from Superior places descend upon the darkened surface of Earth. The picture on the left shows a wide-mouthed jug, containing drinking water, over which fluids are cast during the night. Mental irradiations performed close to the jug are capable of establishing connection with the Superior Forces. This is because the power of thought acts as a conductor of fluids and thus more success is achieved in healing.
