Meghan is here.
In my brand new crib in Westchester County, NY. I moved here Monday-=just in time for insanity
Everyone I know is OK though, so I'm thankful for that.
I love Meghan. She's the best.
We're drinking smelly wine, but that's OK.
I start on Monday for IBM- crrrrazy stuff!!!!
We went to the IBM offices today- it's very nice- we saw deer, wild turkey, and birds
Last month I went to europe.....go see updates and pictures at:

Went home to Reading last weekend- now I have food for a while!!
Got a bad case of senioritis, with 6 months left...I'm unmotivated to do any work, and just want to start working.
And once I start working, I'll probably wish I was back in Pittsburgh in class!
The countdown is on, though- I start Sept. 24- and they're flying me to Raleigh, NC for a few days for orientation.
I'm tired....g'night.

Looks like I'll be moving to Southbury, Connecticut in August/September for a financial analyst position in Global Services with IBM!!!!
I'm extremely excited about this, but will miss everything about Pittsburgh...well, maybe not everything...
But I'll miss my friends, hanging out with nothing better to do, wpts (even w/all the bs), taking buses, classes at Pitt, etc.etc.etc.
ok- I better get studying...tax acct'g exam tonight!!!
January 7, 2001
Classes started, and tax acct'g is gonna kick my ass
But I'm gonna find out a way Amy and I will be able to cheat the gvmt. by getting married in Vermont.
Went to a career fair on Friday in Manhattan- lots of good companies, and I had a good time.
That night, Mary and Joe took me to a nice Thai restaurant, and then Meghan took me to a kool 80s club.

Last week for my co-op...cleaning up all the work, finishing up my paper so I can get credit for this at Pittsburgh...
Had a nice xmas w/family- Amy came in from Switzerland w/Christophe and Mary from Brooklyn.
I visited Julie in Scranton on my way back to Binghamton- she just had kid#2 last Monday- his name is Michael.
Just as cute as Jackie, and so small!
I've got a great spring semester schedule- no Friday classes, and no classes before 11am.
Now if only I saved money from this co-op to party with...
Ah well- can always claim unemployment!
December 13, 2000
IBM gave all us co-ops these neat clip-on radios...they're good for when I go running (which isn't often enough now that it's cold)
Today I got the results for the essay part of the GMATs...got a 5.5 (92nd percentile). I'm surprised, cus I thought I was a crappy essay writer...
(got lucky- the first essay was one I prepared for right before the exam and the other was on art history)
I also got a xxx-mas card from Aggie today (from Poland)...it's really nice and funny.
Aggie's my friend.
Getting closer to my return to Pittsburgh...
Went there last weekend, and was this close to getting a ticket...
1. I went through a blinking red light right in front of a cop car and a speeding, blinking ambulance.
2. There were two friends in the front passenger seat.
3. They weren't wearing a seat-belt.
4. My insurance card was expired.
5. The cop asked me if I was drinking, and I told him how I was at my friend Amy's party and had one mixed drink.
He gave me a warning.
Awwwwwwssshshhhyeaaaaaa

I'm driving to Pittsburgh again tomorrow.
Amy's having a party, and it should be lots o'fun.
Got news yesterday that IBM's gonna fly me to Southbury, Conn on Jan. 18/19 for a college invitational.
They'll be interviewing me for financial analyst positions in Somers and E. Fishkill, NY along with Southbury, Conn.
I'm starting to get sick of Binghamton- there's nothing to do here, and I miss the crew in Pittsburgh.
Meghan's probably going to visit next weekend- that's gonna rock.
Huh-huh.

Took my GMAT exam last night- it's the graduate school entrance exam.
I surprised myself with a good score, so I'm all happy about it.
I used to hope that I'd be able to get into any old school for my MBA, but now my ego has swelled, and I'm looking for a top ten school.
Still thinking about if I want to go into grad school directly after undergrad (applying may even be too late now) or if I want to wait and get a job.
If I get a good job, I could get the company to pay for tuition, which would be nice.
But it would take 4-5 years of night and weekend classes, while I could take an accelerated MBA track for 11 months if I were to get it directly after graduation.
So I'll be looking at schools and at jobs, and will hopefully find something in/near NYC after graduating in August.
We'll see...
