:: History of Earth Club ::

Although established in Summer 1995, Earth Club has started working since Summer 1996. This was because a group of students and faculty members felt the necessity of spreading news and grow awareness on environmental problems. Therefore, EC, a group of 15 environment major students formulated its goal to work closely with the Department of Environmental Studies of North South University and worked for developing environmental consciousness among students through information exchange with various education sector and NGO's by organizing seminars, fields trips, and different type of activities. Presently, EC consists of around 145 students of NSU including 4 members in Executive Committee.

:: Objectives ::

    Ø Building environmental awareness.
    Ø Trained up the members to be an eco-friendly individual.
    Ø Learn about the environment directly from nature.
