Mission Moments:

Sunday, December 29th is the last Mission Sunday for the year 2002.  We appreciate the faithfulness of our contributors as you financially support the ECCC mission concerns around the world and right around the corner!

ECCC Food Pantry

Thanks to everyone for your donations all year long.  Our pantry looks really good by now.  There are a few things we still need in the month of December.  They are:  Spaghetti Sauce, Pancake Mix, Syrup, Rice and Juice.  We also need cash to buy our fresh food for the baskets.  If you can help see Carol Pozz.

Remember to get your Kroger gift certificates from the office. 5% of the sales goes toward supplementing our food pantry and helps keep us prepared for emergency needs.

Adopt-A-Family

We will deliver our food baskets and gifts on Saturday, December 14th at 10:00 a.m.  There is a sign-up sheet if you want to help deliver.  We want to provide for up to 25 families, so if you know of someone in need, please give the information to Vickie Hutchings by November 24th so she can assign families to be adopted with a coordinator for each family.  The gifts need to be wrapped and marked and returned to the church by Sunday, December 8th to Martha Hays.  We would also appreciate hats and gloves to put on our tree to be included with the gifts.  Thank you!

The Watoto Concert was a HUGE success! It was very well attended and we raised $1600 that will help build more homes for the Watoto Missions in Uganda. The children were gracious and the performance was wonderful. Thanks to all who attended and a special thank-you to all who hosted and helped with the concert and dinner. We have added funding for two Watoto children to our 2003 missions budget!
