Specialty priests use the adjusted experience table given in Demihuman Deities, but gain many new abilities in compensation. All specialty priests can cast priest spells (spell spheres vary), fight and save as priests, use d8 as hit dice, and can equip various weapons and armors as per the class. Most specialty priests receive bonus proficiencies and must take required proficiencies as well.
