Psychic Abilities
Psychic abilities include a large range of abilities. Not all of these are considered 'psychic', but most of them are. There are many 'psychics' out there that are fake, but many seem not to be. Some abilities come naturally to some people, others are trained and honed to high-skill. Most are a combination of both.

Skills include:

  • Dowsing - ancient European technique using a Y-rod or pendulum to find underground water, minerals, etc.
  • Remote Viewing (千里眼) - ability to 'see' objects, places from far away or even different times
  • Medical Vision (天目/透視) - ability to 'see' inside bodies as a whole directly, or even from a photo
  • Psychometry - ability to feel and see impressions from the environment, objects, and people
  • Telepathy - reading minds
  • Aura Reading - reading auras
  • Communication with Ghosts - ability to see and communicate with ghosts
  • Channelling - ancient technique to allow one's body to be used by another entity to communicate with others
  • Astral Travel (幽体離脱) - method of freeing one's spirit out of one's body to travel to other realms

Some of these skills have similar counterparts in qigong - these include limited telepathy, aura reading, and lesser channelling abilities, but many skills apparently are only found within the psychic realm. On the other hand, religious masters have also been able to exhibit similar abilities as well; however, religious abilities typically are more of the realm of healing, prophecy, and miracles, while qigong abilities are related to healing, sensitivity, combat, and energy.
