  1. Chosun Catholic Priest (Dopo Robe, Gat (hat), & Stole, with Cross)
  2. Chosun Man (Jungchimak common clothing, Gat outdoor hat)
  3. Chosun Official (Changui everyday clothing, Gat outdoor hat)
  4. (Empty)
  5. Chosun Young Maiden (Joegori, Chima & Pigtail with ribbon)
  6. Chosun Young Maiden (Color 2)
  7. Chosun Giseng (Color 2) no Hat
  8. Chosun Giseng with Jeonmo Outdoor Hat (made of bamboo and oily paper)
Chosun was the old name of Korea, before modernization.
(A Giseng is a female entertainer, much like a Japanese Geisha)
  1. Azuchi-Momoyama/Edo Samurai Court Dress (Kataginu & Hakama, with Daito & Saya)
  2. Edo Samurai Everyday Dress (Kosode, Obi, & Haori, with Daito & Saya)
  3. Japanese-style Flaming Fudou Myouou with Copper Hair, Gold Clothing, & Vajra(?)
  4. Ainu Man (Ruunpe Attush elm bark clothing with Emush (sword), Emush At (strap), & Sheath)
  5. Shiranui Mai (KOF2000 player 2 color - NOT historical, obviously)
  6. (Empty)
  7. (Empty)
  8. (Empty)
Azuchi-Momoyama was the name of the period before the Edo (Tokugawa).
Mai's clothing could never have existed in Edo Japan, of course. Showing thighs, butt, and boob is a modern custom, not an archaic one.
  1. Qing Dynasty Mandarin (Dragon Robe, Hat, Feather)
  2. Qing Dynasty Mandarin (One-Color Robe, Hat)
  3. Shaolin Monk (Full Dress, Buddhist Beads)
  4. (Empty)
  5. Manchurian Young Girl (Full Dress, Hairdress)
  6. Manchurian Young Girl (Color 2)
  7. (Empty)
  8. (Empty)
The colors of the Mandarin's feather are imaginary. The One-Color Mandarin can also be used as a normal Manchu man. The Manchurian young girls also look rather like Qing Dynasty Concubines, with small differences, although I'm not sure of the colors of the clothing of the concubines.
  1. (Empty?)
  2. Ming Noble Girl (Color 2)
  3. Ming Noble Girl 2 with Yuanyangyue (a bladed weapon)
  4. Ming Noble Girl 2 with Power Aura
  5. Question Mark
  6. Ming Noble Girl (Color 1)
  7. Xianren (Chinese Immortal)
  8. (Empty)
In a Qing Dynasty campaign, these Ming women can be used as Chinese Immortals or subjects of the Dragon King, and others.
  1. Chinese Peasant (Color 1)
  2. Chinese Peasant (Color 2)
  3. (Empty)
  4. (Empty)
  5. (Empty)
  6. (Empty)
  7. (Empty)
  8. (Empty)
The peasants' clothing has been colored more vibrantly than the originals.
A bonus (non-historical) charset can be found here. Use them for aliens, ancient machines, or whatever. It took about 15 minutes to make, but whatever.
  1. German Knight
  2. German Lindwurm (a dragon similar to a wyvern, but without wings)
  3. (Empty)
  4. (Empty)
  5. (Empty)
  6. (Empty)
  7. (Empty)
  8. (Empty)
The knight was based on a historical drawing; the lindwurm was also based on a historical drawing, but colors were modified for taste.
  1. Fantasy Dwarf (bald)
  2. Fantasy Mermaid (on land)
  3. Fantasy Mermaid (in water)
  4. (Empty)
  5. (Empty)
  6. (Empty)
  7. (Empty)
  8. (Empty)
This charset is obviously not historical - I guess even I sometimes feel like drawing outside history sometimes. The colors I chose were of my own liking (I like purple eyes and redheads).

  1. Yangban House Set (grass, ground, walls, doors, floors, railing, foundation posts, stair)
  2. Yangban House Outer Walls Set (walls, gates)
  3. Ink Painting of Bamboo with Calligraphy Poems
  4. Cheju Island Dol Harubang Lava Stone Statue
  5. Chinese-style String-Bound Book
  6. Qing Dynasty Golden Armillary Sphere used for Astrology (made with Jesuits?)
  7. Ugly Wall Scroll (to be reworked)
  8. Chinese Jian Sword (Sheathed)
  9. Stone Dragon Turtle Statue
  10. Sitting Pillow
  11. Goryo Celadon Vase
  12. Qing Vase
  13. Suanpan (Abacus)
  14. Goryo Celadon Ewer
  15. Mother-of-Pearl Decorated Box
  16. Haegeum (Fiddle-like Instrument)
  17. Gayageum (Harp-like Instrument)
  18. Partition Screen
  19. Heunghwamun (Palace Gate) (You can make this really long, if you want)
Goryo was a country that was in modern North Korea. In Japanese it was called 'Koma.'
Qing was the name of China under Manchu rule. Gaya was a tiny country that was in the middle of South Korea. In Japanese it was called 'Mimana.'

(Most chips are unedited from the chips that came with the software)

Left is an example of the correct way of using the building parts of this chipset. This building is a typical Yangban (noble) Chosun Dynasty house and courtyard. I also use an empty solid space for the parts between the foundation posts, so that characters cannot walk through. The roof foundation wall is supplied as both an inner and outer chip. This Yangban's house is equipped with partition, ink painting, sitting cushions, celadon vase, and Gayageum. The Chinese dragon turtle sculpture and golden armillary sphere are not typical to this house (or within the owner's budget). The Dol Harubang statue is also not typical to a Yangban's house, but it looks nice anyway.
