Life
Like the weather
Ever changeable, ever unpredictable
Filled with surprises.

Sometimes life is
Joyous, harmonious
Matching the laughter
Of the bright azure sky.

Sometimes life is a
Long, bleak journey
Like the endless stretch
Of grey sky on a rainy day.

Or it can be filled with tension
Like the weather before a storm.
At other times,
Life is filled with adventure
Like the howling winds
The rushing flood waters
The whirl of a tornado

Life, like the searing desert sun,
Can be dreary and wearies one's soul.
Or life can be as refreshing
As the cool Autumn breeze.

Like the weather

La vie
Comme le temps
Toujours changeant, jamais previsible
Deborde de surprises.

Parfois la vie est
Joyeuse, harmonieuse
Egale le rire
Du ciel eclatant.

Parfois la vie est
Un voyage morne et longtemps
Comme l'etendue infinie
Du ciel gris d'un jour pluvieus.

Ou la vie peut deborder de tension
Comme le temps avant un orage.

D'autre temps,
La vie deborde d'aventures
Comme les vents hurlants
L'eau d'inondation presse
La tourbillon ouragan.

La vie, comme le soleil desseche,
Peut se ternir et lasse son ame.
Ou, la vie peut avoir rafrachissant que
La brise fraicheur d'automne.

Tourjours changeant, jamais previsible
Deborde de surprises.
