The Snake and Its Charmer
October 20, 2001
The music hangs fragrant
In the all-consuming night;
The Snake writhes and struggles -
Pris'ner of the Charmer's might.
Dangerous these two are,
Dark and deep their tortured souls.
Velvet notes engulf cold scales,
Mystic love upon them close.
