Censorship in America Please read all or none. Thanx.             Censorship in America, wait a second is this the land of the free? How can we survive as a nation of individuals in a society where no one has the chance to speak their minds or relay opinions? How are we helping our children by hiding unfortunate realities from them? They WILL have to deal with it sooner or later and it is our job as a civilization to implant morals and positive belief systems in America’s youth. Censorship didn’t work for Soviet Union why would it work on a society based on freedom. Without being able to state our beliefs and have the opportunity to influence others and change minds for the good of humanity, then mankind’s eternal search for perfection will remain beyond our reach. Change never came from silence; we do not progress as long as people fall into line behind traditional beliefs. And those who speak out in opposition to the things we hold as morally correct only serve to unite people in their struggle to contest the beliefs of those individuals. If you do not agree with what other people voice, then shout your message from every rooftop and window until you have changed his or her minds. Although people will be reluctant to admit they were wrong, you provide proof and relate to their state of mind it is always possible to change peoples minds. People are always in search of a better answer and will often listen to whoever is the loudest.
