Coaching Solutions Individual Training Programs |
Training programs are usually set up on 3-6 week cycles. I specialize in taking each client's needs and goals into account. I emphasize the rider as an individual, taking into account their goals and how much time they are able to devote to accomplishing these goals. Each program is tailored specifically to the individual rider and to their ability level as well as the constraints real life places upon their ability to train.
Initially, I will do a questionnaire/evaluation that will help us drill down to your specific needs. This evaluation is done free of charge and is used to determine if I can provide you with the assistance you require. Once the evaluation is complete a one:one training session will take place to further evaluate your coaching needs. This training session will usually consist of a moderate paced road ride and if necessary a Computrainer based testing session. When possible I prefer to rely on the Computrainer for testing and evaluation purposes. It provides the client and the coach with real time data on their progress towards their fitness goals. The Computrainer is not my only method of performance evaluation. I believe developing the fitness aspect of the bike rider/racer is only a small portion of what will bring success to an individual. One must be more than just "fast" to be successful on the bike.
