Day
1
Reception at Tuxtla Gutierrez airport and a brief visit
of the Chiapan Capital. Visit of the
neighbouring town of Chiapa de Corzo
to admire its colonial monuments. You
will board a boat on the Grijalva River and ride through the impresive Sumidero Canyon. Later, you will be taken to your hotel in San Cristobal de Las
Casas in the highlands.
Day 2
City tour of San Cristobal de Las Casas and a visit to the Indian Villages
of Chamula and Zinacantan. Evening at your leisure.
Day 3
Drive to the mountain ranges of central
Chiapas to your hotel in Palenque, stopping en route at the admirable Cascades
of Agua Azul.
Day 4
In Palenque,
a complete tour of the archaeological site. Before being taken to the airport
in Villahermosa, the capital city
of Tabasco State, you will visit the Olmec Cultural museum located in La Venta Park.
