FILOBOBOS, RAFTING AND ARCHAEOLOGY. The Filobobos river is one of the most
spectacular rivers of Mexico. It's beautiful valley surrounded by forest and
meadow, where the exuberance of nature with its green tones and the river
water’s, form an excellent frame for the ecotouristic activities in the State
of Veracruz.. The rafting in the river, with a second degree
of difficulty, is a memorable adventure
that culminates at the El Encanto
Waterfall. The geological
formation of the El Encanto Waterfall in a narrow canyon has an impressive fall
of more than twenty meters, forming a natural pool of crystalline water. On the banks of Filobobos river we will find
the archaeological sites of Cuajilote and Vega de la Peña, belonging to the
cultures of the Classic and Post classical periods of the center of Veracruz. INTINERARY: Day 1: 7am
