Estuary Ecology Fied Trip and Workshop Summer Youth Program

Bronx youth group ( Bronx Helpers) discover and explore the urban estuaries surrounding their neighborhood. They investigate pollution sources, living organisms, learn about the history, and ecology of the waterways. Perform scientific investigation to check the health of the urban estuary, as well as the opporunity to explore the bottom through live underwater video. Students participate in short video narrating the history of the Bronx River. Project sites explored- Harlem River, Bronx River, Hudson River North of GW and Flushing Bay. June , July 04
