Aspirin can be fatal for cats. Digene liquid can be given to dogs and cats, if

they are vomiting.

 

Electral or glucose dissolved in water should be given as oral rehydration to

dogs and cats, if they have diarrhoea, or are vomiting.

 

Kittens and pups should not be fed concentrated milk. It should be diluted.

Concentrated milk leads to vomiting. In case of diarrhoea, avoid milk.

Give the animal curd mixed with Isabgol.

 

Diclofenac Sodium, available as tablets or injections, acts as a good painkiller.

But it should be avoided in case of small breeds of dogs like Pomeranians

and Spitzes.

 

In case of bleeding, after cleaning the wound, dab compound Tincture Benzoin

with cotton wool on the wound.

 

Skin irritation often leads to irritation and selfmultiliation. A soft ointment of

zinc oxide and kaolin applied on the wound can be helpful. Antihistamine

creams or lotions of antihistamine and calomine have also been successful

to control the skin irritation.

 

Crude cereal products should be a part of the diet and fat should be given

at a rate of 5-10 per cent.
