These days Club Earth meets in room 908 in building 900 on Tuesdays from 12:00 to 1:00 PM. Club membership has grown and there are a lot more activities planned for the upcoming school year.

On Friday, November 14th club members and anyone interested will meet at 2:00 PM to go to a tidepool trip organized by Club Earth. Our Club Advisor/Ecology Instructor, Carol Dixon, will accompany us and make this an educational trip as well as a trip for sightseeing.

Sometime later this semester Club Earth will take a trip to Milpitas to go visit the B.F.I. Recycling Center.

The garage sale for the Fall of '97 is over. But there are still Flea Markets held every 3rd Saturday of the month at Chabot College, Hayward, CA for anyone who is interested in making a few extra bucks by getting rid of their unwanted materials. Better make a few bucks selling your unwanted goodies than feed the landfills, is what we say. For more information on the Flea Market and questions about obtaining a booth at the Flea Market call JoAnne at (510) 786-6918.
