14 EcoHelpers.Net plans re-development of its website

A complete new look and new services are planned for EcoHelpers.Net,
according to Dale Bent, Project Coordinator. “Our volunteers have
completed a re-evaluation of our website and service offering”, said
Bent. “We will be adding attractive photography and layout, and making
the website easier to navigate. In addition, we’re planning to add
some features that will be very valuable to our clientele, the
environmental organizations and volunteers of the London area.”

Plans included easier-to-use menus, a tool to help any group easily
and inexpensively sample public opinion, a news feature. EcoHelpers.Net
expects to promote the website by using technical means of making the
website visible to search engines.

“We’re really pleased that so many talented volunteers have joined us”,
said Bent. “This will enable us to take over more of the maintenance
of the website ourselves, reducing our costs and improving our responsiveness.
Right now all of the material on the website is being revised and checked
for correctness. We hope to provide fully accurate, rich, accessible
information to all environmental workers in the London region.”

EcoHelpers.Net is also planning publicity to raise the profile of the
website throughout the community.
