9. City of London special waste 2003.

 The City of London accepts special waste at the W12A landfill, Manning 
Drive, 5km south of the 401, just west of Wellington, Saturdays from 
9am to 3 pm.

 Special wastes include: aerosol bleach cans, drain cleaners, batteries, 
flea powder, fluorescent light bulbs, medicines, oven cleaner, nail 
polish, cleansers, photographic chemicals, thermostats or thermometers, 
fertilizers, herbicides, insecticides, pesticides, pool chemicals, propane 
tanks, antifreeze, brake fluid, glues, motor oil, paint, paint thinners, 
solvents, turpentine. For more information call the City of London 661-4585.

 For this first time this year you can also bring electronic items for 
recycling, including computers, radios, stereos, cameras, VCRs, video 
games, consoles, TVs, monitors.  TVs and monitors may not be disposed in 
curbside garbage.
