Heavy Doubt
Words by Laurel Christie Music by Ecstatic Copyright© 2001 Ecstatic
Can you remember, the sweetness of it? The taste of your fingertips... Oh, when you're casting heavy doubt, it gets me crazy in my mind. It's alot to think about...not enough to keep you sane really... I've been running all over this house, which feels like the whole damn world to me, So I suffer, I know that I should take what's coming No matter how bitter the pill I swallow easily.
Trust is another point of view, that you're not capable of subscribing to, Why can't I feel any longer, that lingering breath whispers on the back of my neck. When you're casting heavy doubt, it gets me crazy in my mind... When the words just won't come out, it only breaks the tie that binds..
All of the beauty, turned into a rage, indescribed in terms of hate, Maybe hate's too strong a word for it, I've been thinking maybe we should sort of figure out the difference, The edges of a common ground, How would it feel to be completely surrounded? The pull of you, the fool in me.......
The kiss of a promise, when the roses died, I've got it sort of figured out, Can you remember how much I loved you, I can't stand to see you leave...
