Stations of the Cross

This party's old! I'm getting tired of the fact that I'm not the man I used to be... Righteous and Conceited... I don't understand. The Kings and Queens bow down before me, But now something's missing... I'm a cause of disease That runs through the veins of all souls that are living... The Past's unforgiving and the Shore of the Future... is gone
Listen up now weary customer! I'm sure you must have heard me speak the words in your ear... Now I'm drowning in the water I've walked upon... Reach for your hand, only to find it gone! And the faces of fools sucking on stones... like their mothers Long ago, washed away with the tide and turned into bone.
So, he was a man, I dared not touch him, so delicious, so dangerous, kissed his feet... kissed his lips... but he bled
It was fine for awhile...the ride I divided and multiplied... broke the bread, drank the wine... You've all had you share. But now... looking back... It all reads like a bad paperback, And I hope you all burn in Hell for the things that you've done to Me... I've broken My back... I don't care... I'm going home
