The Hostel at Casa Mojanda, located just up the hill, is designed for the traveler on a budget with a desire to enjoy the fine meals and services of Casa Mojanda. Our Hostel rate is US $15/night and includes a full breakfast
or $22.50 with a 3 course dinner.

Casa Mojanda, a country inn built entirely of earth and wood, sits nestled on a mountainside in the Mojanda foothills above the famous market town of Otavalo. From each adobe cottage, you will have magnificent views of the Andean mountains and countryside. You can walk, mountain bike, or horseback ride spectacular trails passing lakes, waterfalls and gorges.

Casa Mojanda, based upon the principles of ecological tourism, seeks to exert a minimal impact on the natural environment and actively promotes awareness of local cultures, traditions, and issues of social and ecological importance. We explore ways that environmentally and socially aware travelers can exchange ideas, technologies, and skills while they interact with local communities
