| *Hotel Imbabura - Address? - $4.00 sin bano. Not a great deal but a nice place and nice people. Colonial with courtyard full of plants and birds. But awkward bano and small basic rooms with no closets. | |
| *Hotel El Retorno - 4-32 Moncayo - $4.50 - con bano, TV. Very comfortable and friendly. Room 9 is best of 3 I stayed in - 3 beds, lots of windows, closet space, shelves, etc. Room 18 is small and has no outside window. Room 8 has one window and no closet. | |
| Internet Place (Name?) - 9-69 Bolivar - $4.00 con baņo, $2.50 without. Three cheap rooms on roof. OK. Nice people. | |

| Multipan - 6-24 Moncayo - Good big breakfasts for $1.25. Grilled cheese sandwich, 2 eggs, Juice, Coffee. | |
| Pollo Chips - Acosta 10-20, near the Obelisk. Quarter pollo with rice, chips, and salad for $1.70. This place is managed by smart young people, caters to the hearing impaired, and usually has poor people lingering around who'll happily finish your meal for you. It works. | |
