72. While visiting the sick, a priest should not hesitate to lead in prayer, to comfort and bless those of other communions who desire these ministrations.
73. The Sacrament of the Sick may be administered in those circumstances outlined in nos. 50-52 above.
74. In Catholic institutions for the sick and the aged, positive initiatives are needed to see to it that all patients, Christian and non-Christian alike, are provided with their own spiritual ministrations when they request these from their clergy. The latter should be promptly informed. On a regular basis, their clergy should be accorded every possible aid and courtesy in visiting their sick people.
