ROBERT ACKLEY, 65, of Safety Harbor died Wednesday at his residence. He was
born in Mantua, N.J., and moved here in 1981 from Macomb, Ill. He was a self-employed
painting contractor. He was also a U.S. Army veteran of World War II. He was
a member of Espiritu Santo Catholic Church in Safety Harbor. In Macomb, he was
the manager of the Chamber of Commerce, President of the Park Board, and President
of the Jaycees. He is survived by his wife, Anne "Nancy"; and a sister,
Ruth Hirst of Northfield, Ill. Curlew Hills Crematory, Palm Harbor.

junior high schoolteacher. She was a member of Espiritu Santo Catholic Church,
Safety Harbor, and enjoyed arts and crafts. Survivors include two brothers, Robert
Manion, Inverness, and William Manion, Thorofare, N.J.; three sisters, Jeanne
Smith, Hainesport, N.J., Nona Russo, Ventnor, N.J., and Margaret Schnarr, Woodbury,
