Gertrude Ackley Keen, 85, of Elsinboro Township died Wednesday in The Memorial
Hospital of Salem County, Mannington Township.
She was born in Salem, daughter of the late Thomas and Elizabeth Patrick Ackley.
Mrs. Keen worked in the cafeteria of the DuPont Co.'s, Chambers Works, Deepwater
for several years.
She was a member of the Pocohontas Lodge of Salem.
Surviving are two sons, Thomas of Elsinboro and Stuart of Millville; two daughters,
Elaine Hill of Pennsville and Lois Lang of Elsinboro; 14 grandchildren; and 10
great-grandchildren.
She was predeceased by her husband, Elwood; and two sons, Robert and William.
Services are 10 a.m. Saturday in Woodside Funeral Home, 34 Oak St., Salem, where
friends may call after 9 a.m.
Burial will be in East View Cemetery, Salem.
