Features of the Products
MPU Based Encroachment Security Access System is a security device used to protect valuable properties or even employees of a certain company, office, bank, pawnshop, and any restricted area where only authorized persons are allowed to access or enter the room. This system includes the following features; automatic door opening and closing (for entry mode and exit mode), automatic printing information (information of individual who accessed the area), provide changeable pin code of authorized users (in change password option), and provide counter display (visible counter to record the number of persons inside the area).
Functionality of the Design Products
This design product is particularly intended for restricted areas. The main system is controlled by the MPU circuit. This circuit includes memory of the system (where the main program is stored in ROM, and RAM is used as temporary storage), and clock generator (allowing the users to reset the system). Other components used in MPU circuit are buffer (74LS245 and 74LS373), and decoder (74LS138). Input/output circuit is triggered by the decoder for enabling and disabling the output device. Liquid crystal display (LCD) is used in the system for user instructions while keypad and improvised card and card slot are used for user input. This system used the following device for output purposes, seven segment (for counter display), printer (for information printing), and stepper motor (to open and close the door).
