A small biker gang's friend (tetsuo) is taken and had his esp enhanced and because that gave him great power, along with him always having a friend come to save him (kaneda) when hes in trouble. He gets a bit jealous when his friend helps him and goes about destroying everything, but there are some midgit's that have psychic power also and they try to stop tetsuo, with no luck.. so anyway tetsuo thinks he has to get this guy named akira and bring him back to life.. anyhoo he ends up going crazy and growing really large but then he's stopped by akira and the midgits and then thats about it..
