Kenshin is a great fighter, he is always alert and ready to chop somebodys head off. In the episodes I saw, kenshin hid out with a female (Kamiya.. I think) whom husband he killed, she felt angry toward him but over time she grew to like him.. she thought that if he wasn't such a killer and just a farmer that he would be perfect. Anyway it was all just a trap to try and lower his senses to make him unaware if somebody attacked him. The woman had no idea about the plan involving her, so she was annoyed to say the least. Anyway she still got Kenshin to like her, and she left a note saying she had to go and some other stuff and that made him sad/angry/..etc basically doing exactly what the people who are trying to kill him wanted. Anyway he travels through the snow toward where she was headed, and many people attack him along the way but he kills them.. but he is wounded and almost dead by the time he gets to the end. He ends up getting beaten severely and when he is about to die.. the woman steps in front of him to take the blow they all die except Kenshin.. he then mournes her death but knows he must move on.. just now he knows the pain that she felt when he killed the one she loved.
