Giggles, bathrobes, munchies, talking, and snores... what's better than a women's retreat!!! I love a party, and a party with 'women only' is my kind of fun! If I can help that body of women learn to love the Lord and their families better, then teach them how to enjoy one another, I'm a happy lady! I sing some, pray some, teach some, cry some, and we laugh a lot! Some of my topics have been: Giggles Make the Trip - a fun lesson for the kinetic, visual AND auditory learner!; Scary, Sensational Sisterhood; Heart of Praise (Not a "personality trait", but a disciplined, sought-after, sometimes painfully-developed gift...) and Multiplying by Addition, a study for moms on II Peter 1 suitable for a full weekend retreat. Jewels from the Blizzard deals with trauma - both physical, emotional, and spiritual. I'm also asked to speak about life as a homeschool mom (for these fifteen years now), or of our family's journey with a teenaged son who is severely mentally impaired. You can contact me about your women's retreat or concert need, but I'm not anxious to spend time away from my family, and take very few events per year, so pray about it first and let me know your thoughts. |

A few words about Shar from others... |
||
"For several years I have had the personal joy of working alongside Shar Boerema whose winsome personality is disarming. As we sing praises to God together, Shar gently moves us through times of laughing or weeping. She sees to it that we do enjoy our God. As a speaker, I know how significant a role the worship leader can play in setting the climate in which God can speak. I'm grateful that Shar Boerema is gifted to do just this -- and that I'm on her team!" Gail MacDonald, author and speaker |
"...I had to tell you again how much you ministered to me.... I loved the praise and worship time probably the best of the whole conference. I felt His cleansing and forgiveness in a powerful way. Thank you for showing me a wonderful picture of Jesus through your love." Lisa

"I was truly touched by the message you delivered as I realized what a joy and what a blessing it is to give my all to my Lord and Savior, Jesus. And what a blessing it was to listen to you share with us the gift of voice... the gift of His music..." Anonymous
"Your music, singing, and your sharing ministered greatly to us. Thank You! Thank You! Thank You!" Regenia |
