RACE 6. (my 4th race)
I am getting a lot faster.  Somebody from Team Calimari got me with my knee down on the 2nd to the last turn before the front straights.  I've  destroyed my first set of toe sliders that day.  I gotta buy some more...but they're so expensive for a piece of plastic and velcro.

Today the track was setup similar to RACE 4 (Modified Perimeter) so I had a better idea of how fast I could enter each turn.  That helped out a lot because most of your  braking and setup is done before a turn. Everytime I am back on a YSR I have to remind myself these YSRs can rail on  tighter turns than your avergage street bike.  It's hard to believe but these Dunlop TT91's are incredibly sticky.   If you have to correct in a turn then your're doing something wrong before it.
RACE 6.   Joe did not bring his bike to this race but took photos and video.  If anybody is interested I got the 6 min video MPEG'ed which equates to 100 megs.  It's pretty sweet but too big to post online.  I video  captured some of the shots.  I can also burn a CD for anyone who's interested.  It's mostly me and Craig (49) but has a lot of shots of the regular  Novice SS riders too.
