Brendan's story begins with two people who were very much in love with one another.
They were Eddie and LaLani Moone. LaLani was a beautiful young woman with sparkling
eyes and a wonderful joy of life. Eddie was her husband (more on him later).
Anyway, after LaLani and Eddie were married for awhile, they decided to have the cutest baby
in all the world. LaLani liked the name Brendan, and Eddie liked the name Everett, and
everybody just loves the name Moone - so Brendan Everett Moone was the name chosen.
Now to the fun part . . . the delivery. After 38 weeks of LaLani's bravery and Eddie's
patience, Brendan decided to "head out" into the world on May 20, 2000. Now this was good
because this was the very day and time that Eddie had requested from LaLani. It was a Saturday
and Eddie got to sleep late (not that he has had that chance since Brendan got here). LaLani
got her husband up and told him to get ready. After wasting some time playing UNO, they
left for the hospital.
At the hospital, things ran quickly. LaLani and Brendan were convinced that a quick delivery
was just what they wanted, and they got it. Just a little over an hour after getting in the delivery
room, Brendan entered the world. Eddie thought he looked alot like a wet Klingon baby, but LaLani
thought he was cute!
Some days later, Brendan came home, and he doesn't seem interested in leaving. Eddie and
LaLani think he is very special, and they plan on keeping him.
