Anyways, REALLY haven't updated my web page for a long time. I'm still trying to rethink the layout of this site. And at the same time, I'm brainstorming for a site that I'll be serious about in making it. AND ALSO, it was spring break. I don't have any kind of web making tool back home. I don't want to be so hardcore to use HTML codes =P.

Start of spring quarter. Professors all seem to be pretty boring, except EE103. But the thing is, 103 is an 8 o'clock class, on top of that, I don't have to take notes (all the lecture notes are online), so I dozed off in there anyways. =( Gonna have my lab tomorrow, looks pretty tough. I've to do Prelab??! Ahhh....

Why isn't my EE2 grade up???! That's the grade I worry the most! What takes Jalali so freaking long??! C'mon!!! (As you can tell, I'm going insane)

MJ has gone down - out for season. A round of applause for what he did this season, not bad at all for a 40-year-old man. Hmm... I'm wondering what I'd be doing when I'm 40. Must be programming in D++ (since C++ will be outdated 20 years later) and playing around with semiconductors. Oh joy.

Apartment search begins again. We have to get one RIGHT NOW. We don't wanna look around anymore. Can someone give us a nice place to live???!

Guess what guys? We actually decorated our door today. Amazing isn't?! We ARE gonna WIN the decoration competition, because we are cool like that. You hear that *ahem* YOU! Well... I did minimal work since I'm soooo artistic (not), Lawrence just drew the pictures and me and Ken just helped out coloring and taping them on the wall. Hey, believe it or not, it looks REALLY cool!

Gosh... spent $130 on my material science book. What the freak?! That's so lame! The one I bought online was actually not the same book I wanted! Now I gotta go through all the hassle to mail back the book and get the refund. Argh, I hate this.

Char, sorry I still haven't had a chance to talk to you. I'll try calling you couple days later. cool?

The Eddie has changed! I BUZZED MY HEAD! Yes... it's really really short right now! Hey, at least there's no negative comments about my new look so far (or people just didn't want to destroy my self-esteem). I'll try to get a picture and upload it on here. Then you guys can all judge.

Finally I've a chance to update this journal. Have been so damn busy lately. Damn those work, esp. EE103. The HW was just pissing me off. I couldn't do the majority of it. PLEASE HELP ME! =( Damn those lil tricks to the hw, how in the world can I figure out those lil tricks?!

My Econ class gets on my nerve too! Not that the prof or the TA is bad, just that some Biz/Econ people just don't know how to do Math. Guys, it's just algebra! Can't believe sometimes the TA needs to go over the algebra too! Not that I'm good at Econ or anything, just that I think everyone should at least know Algebra at this point of their lives right?!

**Side note: my Econ prof today said, "My midterms are usually hard, so don't get too intimidated by the problems." Outcome: (to be continued...) Hopefully, what he said is not true.**

Thankfully, our apartment situation is solved. We gonna live on Veteran next year, come drop by guys!

NBA Playoffs started, that only means more distractions for me. It's OK as long as Dallas and Sacto keep winning =) (who should I cheer for when they play against each other? tough one...)

Yeah... it's been a while since I updated this journal. You know what my excuse is anyways, so I guess I don't have to explain again.

This week is a lil bit different, I found myself running for assistant treasurer for the Engineering Society - something that I would never do. Frankly, to be an officer, I can probably get to know more people, and hey, I might spend a lot of time in their lounge a lot next year anyways, so I might as well run for something. My opponent was someone who is already an officer (even though not the assistant treasurer), and without a surprise, I lost. Thanks for everyone who voted for me (mostly because I forced them to. Especially to Joanna who tolerated me for asking 5000 questions about the election). And for those who did try but forgot due to various reasons, don't feel bad (I know you guys aren't anyways) because I think the winning margin was nothing close anyways. Before giving a speech for my position, I was asking around for advices on how to make my speech. Among them, Char asked, "Why do you want this job so bad?" I simply answered, "I am running for it, of course I want to win." Do I really wanna win that bad? Kinda, sorta, maybe. I am disappointed that I didn't get it, even though I expected this outcome. Besides school work, I just don't do anything else. For one of the few times I sought for changes, I failed. I had never won anything significant in my life. Maybe this is the main reason why I really want to win this time, not because I really want to be an assistant treasurer. At least this time, I picked up my motivation and tried to compete against my opponent. Maybe my effort was not enough, or maybe I was just a no match to the winner, at least I tried.

Some interesting comments from Raj tonight. I'm a guy with "the mentality of a human being and the satisfication of a pig." that makes me to be a "superpig". Is that supposed to be a completment? And, this I can never figure out. I've "the word PIMP written all over my forehead". Hmm... I never understand how a loser like me can be called a pimp by quite a few people. Or maybe... I'm pimp in the "engineering nerd scale"?!

Tired.... whatever.
