eddyware is devoted to providing fun free entertainment.
It all started back in 1999 with Ed's Pipes. The project was
intended as a protest against those who would charge for unoriginal,
poorly written video games. Everyone knows that unoriginal, poorly
written video games should be FREE! And so Ed's Pipes was written to
show the world that you don't have to pay for poor quality. You can
get it for free.
The reaction from the public was a little surprising. Ed's Pipes
quickly became one of the more popular puzzle games on ZDNet. We
had taken a stand, and tens of thousands of people had agreed:
Free video games, even stupid ones, are COOL!
Since then, eddyware has worked to provide better, more entertaining
games that everyone can enjoy. All games are non-violent, family friendly
and guaranteed not to install unwanted garbage on your system. All our
products are entirely contained within a single zip file, require no
installation or uninstallation, and will not upset the delicate balance
of your operating system in any way.
All games require the Microsoft DirectX library to run. If you do not
have DirectX installed, you can obtain the latest version from Microsoft's
web site. Also, you will need a program that can decompress *.zip
files (such as WinZip). You can download one from
ZDNet.
