UPHOLDING IDEALS OF EQUALITY RULE

Some would like to think that any populist regime, extolling discipline, moral values, social or civic order would necessarily be inflexible, intolerant and especially very patriarchal in nature.

Nothing could be further from the truth, while such regimes believe strongly that government should maintain a reasonable degree of civil order, they also call for a more nurturing and caring society i.e., such as one possessing a high degree of honor, civism, courtesy and self-restraint. While Populism agrees that civil protection and national security may be ensured by military/police surveillance and enforcement practices, a populist government would rather seek to instill moral code of conduct and notions of self-discipline.
The movement understands that no amount of surveillance or force can prevent crimes if the sources of social problems in our countries are not adequately dealt with and sensitively tackled by all. In order to be successful in this venture, all members of communities must equally be involved including: men, women youths and elders... no one must be neglected in this great popular democratic struggle.

A Populist movement would seek to represent the largest, broadest coalition of citizens but would do so by reestablishing leadership roles for each section of its population. While today we generally accept that members of lobby groups and various non-governmental organizations substitute themselves on behalf of any or all members (in the greatest Liberal, Marxist tradition), a Populist Feminist movement would rather give the voices back to each constituent by reestablishing representational group majorities in our political forums. Populism, in this case, would reject both a sociopolitical melting-pot (where individualism and culture are lost) and a multicultural union (that repudiates all sense of identity and personal interest).
A populist movement would advocate a women leader, as it would a youth leader, a leader for each branch of government and each sector of industry. Such a populist view--in advocating a dual leadership voice at the top--would insure an equal partnership role in all governmental domestic and foreign state affairs.

The adoption of this standpoint would both counteract opposing arguments advanced by Marxist feminism (which claims to reject all notions of biological differences anyhow), and challenges a restrictive democratic liberalism (that purposely maintains an arbitrary system of rule).
The truth no Relativist/Marxist dogma can escape is that people (both men and women) are born biologically 'Different': they have distinctive needs; pursue different goals; seek different careers, orientations and interests in life. Why should an entire section of the population be denied representation on the grounds of an outdated, inadequate and unequal form of governance?
The majority of self-proclaimed feminist-Marxists/Liberal governments in the past, have never lived up to their claim of attaining equal opportunities for all--simply because they never acknowledged any differences amongst people to begin with. The establishment feigns to unite people on political grounds while denying their most basic and intrinsic identities; they endlessly talk of equality while maintaining strict controls over power hierarchies, they protect ruling elites and allow no changes to the status quo.

Populist Feminist attitudes toward women are governed by economic as well as biological, social and political considerations. The movement sees the need to adopt the preamble reinforcing the line that: "Women are partners with men and are not in competition with them."
The goal of patriotic women should never be to campaign against patriotic men but to fight the national populist campaign alongside them. This demand for equality would then work both ways.
Another important point is that women must receive equal pay for equal work and must be defended by an active Women Labour Organization in every profession and industry.

Populist Feminism promotes strong family values. It opposes on principle gay marriage, divorce, birth-control and abortion. The movement encourages a) the sanctity of marriage; b) the raising of the nation's health standards and their tangible results: healthy children.
Feminist Populism sees Marriage as serving the greatest cause to the nation since it enriches lives, fulfills hopes of founding families, provides social safety nets, and benefits communities. Therefore the state must encourage these unions by offering financial and other incentives. Women who have to leave full-time employment to marry must be eligible for marriage vouchers--such loans and repayment of debts can be spread over very long periods of time, reduced or canceled altogether; for a first child by 25 per cent and for subsequent children by the same percentage of the outstanding sum.
If a woman who has no husband bares a child it does not bring upon the baby the stigma of bastardy or against the mother the accusation of immorality: for a woman who has given a child to the Nation has performed her greatest patriotic duty. In other words, a populist movement would see her as neither an unwed or wed "woman", but a "mother".
To help unmarried mothers who have to go out to work, there needs to be generous tax reliefs, and to remove the social stigma, the State should take responsibility for rearing fellow-citizen's children.
There may be financial inducements for mothers, such as rent rebates, the reduction of electricity and gas bills by 50 per cent and preferential treatment on transport, in queues and in shops.
Populism firstly believes that the status of the mother should be upgraded. The movement acknowledges the special and indispensable role of women in society, it must do so through slogans such as: "Women are the first educators of the new generation";
"Motherhood has its own battlefield and readily displays a natural quality of self-sacrifice";
"Women are different, but the equals of men--partners, a perfect whole in the production-reproduction cycle."
To help women fulfill their natural function of motherhood, all influences which might harm the unborn child are to be avoided. Women are advised not to smoke or drink alcohol during their pregnancies and to keep themselves fit through exercise and a healthy diet.
Pre-natal clinics should be set up to monitor the health of the expectant mother and her baby. Post-natal clinics would also need to be run ensuring the health and well-being of mother and child.

Populism in principle rejects absolutely and totally birth control and abortion. Both are considered to be crimes against the principles of Christianity and State and the slogan stating that: "abortion is little less than child murder," may be promoted emphasizing this moral position. Of course, there might be permitted cases where not to abort would endanger the mother's life, or where the fetus may be born with life-threatening hereditary defects.
Populist Feminism opposes 'liberal', 'pervasive' and 'depraved' life-styles and habits. The overt reason for this condemnation is that loose morals is a sin in the eyes of the Church, it harms the fabric of society, goes against the laws of humankind and nature. For this reason a Populist Feminism favors heterosexual relationships from which a natural union between a man and woman would be blessed with offsprings.

Lastly, Populist Feminism believes no commercial enterprise must become a capitalist campaign directed against any citizen especially not women (as is the case in most markets today). Work is a necessity but must never force upon any ranks of the population unacceptable working conditions or degrading standards. Women are not to be compelled to do anything that a man would not do himself.
To look after the interests of women in the workplace, Populist Feminism calls for an active Labour Women's League. In order that female representatives understand the problems of their members they will have to spend a minimum of six month on the factory floors or in occupational roles in the job market as well as having to graduate in social sciences.

A nation of finite human resources--which is engaged in a fight for its very survival--must ensure that every able citizen is fully employed to his/her best ability. A nation, and particularly one which is fighting an ideological populist and cultural struggle, cannot afford to risk sabotage by employing a large dissatisfied labor force. A caring and compassionate nation must strive to unite all citizens in a common cause and must insure that the populist struggle is not waged as war against women but for Respect, Well-being and Honor.

Editor's Note: The objective of this research on Populist Feminism (160 pp.) is to explore concepts of collective liberal dominance, and to examine the implications of its use. The analysis proceeds with a study of competing theories, followed by a review of underlying frameworks and describes the practical applications of Populist Feminism (summary follows).

POPULIST FEMINISM: DEFINED
Core Definition:

The theory of Populist Feminism upholds "core" female perspectives, for populists maintain that all meaning has definite gender identity representing males and females. The movement views the task of its feminism as a political struggle and its conditions defined by existing state. The movement strives to understand how established hegemonic structures of modern institutions remain deeply imbued with patriarchal ideology and male dominance--all the while falsely seeking to bridge the gender gap. A Populist Feminist analysis must be able to demonstrate how institutions and practices reinforce arbitrary and uneven forms of power relations which allow mostly male self-elected representatives to exercise power over women instead of favoring equal dual-leadership roles. The perspective tends towards historical categories which refer to either the biological/organic existence of women and men or to the historically conditioned and changing, yet materially real inequality between women and men. The theory rejects a radical feminism which seeks to replace a privileged male perspective with a female one. It also opposes itself to postmodernists who defend a melting-pot feminism that has no criteria for differentiating competing views.

Motivating Factor:

There is an understandable deliberate attempt (on the part of the Marxist/Liberal academia) to discredit at all cost, a Populist Feminism--A simple search on the internet confirms this point, as will a reading of the vast literature on the subject of women under populist regimes for the past six decades. Modern scholars tend to largely underscore patriotic women's accomplishments in any field and every era. If women had attained high status in a populist country it must have been to cover up obvious inequalities of power in the rest of society--it had to be manipulation. If women had indeed been empowered, it was in order to compensate for an overtly male dominated system of rule--it had to be restrictive. If the regime could not easily be discredited then deliberate personal attacks on the integrity of the women or persons directly concerned was sought; personal ego, lust for power, or greed had to be the motivating factor--it had to be elitist. These types of arguments tend to prove one thing, and one thing only: a total lack of scientific evidence. Personal or political opinions and bias are readily promoted as empirical facts demonstrating the obvious need for further research by a bold new breed of populistic/nationalistic Post-Post Modern scholars.

Gender Identity Defined:

Populist Feminism defines gender according to biological differences between males and females; the natural physical characteristics that a person possesses at birth; the intrinsic cognitive ability of the individual. To acknowledge these simple facts necessarily repudiates the notion that identity is somehow socially or culturally constructed and establishes the primacy of gender-centric/ biological-intrisic roles in society. Mutual respect for individual members of our society begin with a basic understanding of who we are as human beings. To repudiate the foundations of genetic makeup, in any way, first relativizes and ultimately trivializes our most precious in-born God given human heritage.

Equality Myths:

It is important to dispel some of the misconceptions about equality in the current gender debate. While mainstream Marxists and liberals promote relativism/nihilism, multiculturalism and internationalism/globalist perspectives in every single issue--be it identity, race, culture, polity or gender--a Populist Feminist viewpoint professes the exact opposite, that is: absolutism, uniculturalism and nationalism/isolationist ideals.
While the former relies on immaterial, non-substansive abstract concepts to formulate quantitative theses, the latter focuses on concrete, organic and scientific concepts to arrive at qualitative empiricisms. Populist Feminism believes that science is about finding out "truths" and this truth consists of statements that correspond to "reality." It is this correspondence to a demonstrable reality which explains why science has been so successful at prediction and control. The body, as a focus of scientific debate, is more central and important in populist reflections as it is in other philosophies. For Populism does [not] believe the body to be mere empty shell or machine of production possessing no soul, [instead] it recognizes biological mechanisms to possess unique inalienable, eternal and intrinsic worth. In this light, there are certain genealogical differences that make each individual unique and distinct from one another, while still being bound by nature's laws, geneological, ethnic and physical traits. Populist Feminism believes that these human characteristics and identities should serve as the uniting factor. Furthermore, any difference or obstacle to mutual understanding with the 'other' can only be overcome in full realization of these differences and obstacles, not despite them.

Dogmatic Approach:

Feminism, following a bio-gender perspective, sees in Populism the ideological path toward mutuality. The key argument is that equality with others is a process sought in the realization of existing, known or discernible inequalities (otherwise the debate would not take place). So the successful negotiation process must necessarily start by acknowledging any scientific inequalities to overcome them, not by trying and dispelling them or pretending they do not exist (thereby invalidating the premise from the onset).
If women and men are physically, characteristically, socially, psychologically and fundamentally different--[if] these 'differences' are put forward in any fashion in the ongoing ideological discourse, [then] the premise of negotiation for equality lies in better defining a mutual ideological truce between the sexes. Populism generally does [not] dispel notions of dichotomies in ethnicity, sexes, cultures, or states (quite the contrary), it is therefore well suited to undertake the task of mediation between opposites.

Pros:

Women find strength in uniting under the cause of gender guided and inspired feminist movements.
Yet at the same time these movements generally call for the abolishment of all gender differences. The two objectives are not easily met simply because they are in total contradiction. Populist Feminism maintains that there is no need to analyze the cause of the problems any longer, instead there is a need to formulate real concrete solutions that can be achieved in the real world. Feminist movements offer interesting dissertation theses and good analytical methodologies identifying the causes of the problems of women in society, but while most theories were able to identify the sickness, they were unable to prescribe a cure. They procrastinate and are simply incapable of offering any concrete examples of how a society would change, and dare not guarantee that any change, for the sake of change, would result in a better equal balance of power. It seems as if no other feminists, except populists, could realistically describe the ideal society they aspired to create. Schools keep debating whether the preferred model should be a ruling matriarchal society or simply the chance to elect a woman president. While historically not being clear on what the final objectives were, it seems that other feminists tried to fight the very essence of womanhood. It seems strange that feminist movements generally motivate women to be more like men while supposedly defending their in-born identities. The world without goodness, caring, nurturing, softness and femininity becomes indeed a harsh place to live in. Populism therefore regards these identity traits as the most positive strengths of women and believes that the ideal society must be founded on the differences not on the similarities existing between the sexes.

Cons:

Today institutions in society effectively prevent a dual leadership role for both women and men--they wilfully and knowingly adopt a unisexualist (transexualist) form of voter representation. As a result the fascinating and unique form of populist rule can no longer be exercised or put into practice in the Western world. Only a populist commitment towards constitutional and political reform could reverse this 'travesty' and restore what was once an harmonious, truly democratic, balanced and fair hierarchy of power.

of study
:

The absurd Marxist Feminist (Queer theory) perspective on sex changes avoids important aspects concerning the attainment of the physical ideal through surgical procedures, medical genetic or scientific biological manipulations. For if beauty, aesthetic value and human perfection--as defined by popular myths--is to be encouraged in society, then it seems, we are not far off from our own Populist ideals of the past albeit corrupted. It is ironic that such considerations today totally escape public scrutiny and the trends are adopted as perfectly acceptable although they were once the cause of so much controversy. Perhaps a Populist Feminist debate along these lines would be warranted on the subject and could lay grounds for timely in-depth comparative sociocultural studies.

Gertrud SCHOLTZ-KLINK (1902-1999)

Born in Adelsheim, Baden, on February 9, 1902, Gertrud Scholtz-Klink was Reichsfrauen-Fuhrerin (Female Leader) of all women in Germany.
Upholding ideals of Germandom and equality rule Scholtz-Klink joined the Nazi Party in 1928. Within two years, she headed the National Socialist Women's Union (NSF) in Baden. On January 1, 1934, Scholtz-Klink became Deputy Leader of the NSF. By November 1934, she headed all female groups within the National Socialist German Workers Party (NSDAP) having political power and influence over: the Frauenwerk, the Women's League of the Red Cross, the Women's Bureau in the Deutsche Arbeitsfront, and the Woman's Labor Service.
After WWII on November 18, 1948, Scholtz-Klink was sentenced by a French military court to eighteen months of incarceration after eluding capture for nearly three years.
In November 1949, by a special de-Nazification court. Scholtz-Klink was branded a "Major Offender" due to her strong adherence to the Nazi ideology instructing women to physically and mentally renounce luxury and pleasure and work for the betterment of German society through self-sacrifice. She lost all civil rights despite being acquitted of any war crimes.

Eva Duarte PERON (1919-1952)

Eva Duarte de Peron, was born May 7, 1919, in the town of Los Toldos. With a yearning for a life beyond the endless expanse of grassland, seventeen-year-old Eva left her home for the bright lights of Buenos Aires and within three years of her arrival, she had carved out a career as a radio and film actress.
In January 1944, Eva encountered an immensely popular politician named Juan Perón at a fund-raising concert organized to help earthquake victims. Perón went on to become Minister of War and Vice President of the Republic, but political unrest at the end of World War II eventually led to his arrest and imprisonment. Freed in a populist revolt, Perón subsequently married Eva and was elected President of Argentina with a huge popular mandate.
As First Lady of Argentina from 1945 to 1952, "Evita" (as she was universally known) was the country's spiritual leader and became the object of intense, almost mystical adoration by the country's common people. She was instrumental in the formation of the Perónist Women's Party, as well as The Eva Perón Foundation for charitable works amongst the nation's poor.
She was the unofficial minister of health and labor, helping achieve women's suffrage, initiating educational reforms.
The populist masses clamored for Eva to assume political office beside her husband. Despite growing dissent from military and political opponents, she was put forward as the vice-presidential candidate. Renouncing her political aspirations after being diagnosed with terminal cancer, Eva Perón fell into a steep and sudden decline, and on July 26, 1952, she died at the age of 33.

Alessandra MUSSOLINI (1962-)

Grand-daughter of former Italian Prime Minister Benito Mussolini (1883-1945), daughter of his third son Romano Mussolini; niece of actress Sophia Loren. Italian actor, medial student, Fascist politician. Member of the European Parliament as well as a parliamentarian in the Republican Chamber of Deputies of Italy, elected in Naples for Alleanza Nazionale. On 28 November 2003 she resigned from the party, though retaining her seat in the Chamber of Deputies, when she considered that party leader and deputy prime minister Gianfranco Fini "dishonoured her family's history" when he described fascism as "an absolute evil" when apologising in Israel for Italy's actions before and during the Second World War. Alessandra Mussolini had often been at odds with Fini over his efforts to distance the National Alliance from its Fascist legacy and move it into the mainstream conservative fold. Mussolini subsequently established a new party, the Alternativa Sociale con Alessandra Mussolini, which won one seat in the European Parliament election of June 2004.

Famous Quote

* ..... "Until recently the word fascist was considered shameful. Fortunately, that period has passed. In fact, there is now a reassessment of how much grandpa Benito did for Italy." (Newsweek magazine, p. 19, February 17, 1992)

Marine LE-PEN (1968-)

French politician, an attorney by profession, second daughter of Jean-Marie Le Pen of the Front National--the party that both won regional council seats after pioneering a populist assault on working-class disillusionment with Socialists and Communists. Since 2002, Marine has been president of Generations Le Pen, an organization close to the Front National which aims "to promote the thought and works of Jean-Marie Le Pen" amongst the youth. She ran in the 2004 French regional elections in the Île-de-France region. Since April 2003, she has been one of eight vice presidents to the party.
Marine Le Pen's dynamic campaigning and close surveillance of the local political apparatus has had an extraordinary effect in areas around Lens and Hénin-Beaumont in France. The Front vote even went up to 35 per cent in the once staunchly Socialist towns such as Wingles.
Having reinforced her own power base, Marine Le Pen is strongly placed to take a leading role in the battle for the succession inside a family alliance that includes Jean-Marie's son-in-law, Samuel Maréchal, 33, who invented the movement's slogan: "Neither right, neither left, but French."
The Front's success acts as a catalyst for voters increasingly daring to speak about links between illegal immigration and crime--revealing a de facto alliance that runs from the educated middle class to the urban poor.
