June 2003 - Permission granted for a Community Garden to be established, using two derlict allotments.

Some clearance work had been carrried out before this picture was taken.

Further clearance has been done with the help of Groundworks East Durham and the Probation service

Path laid and initial work on preparing the ground and clearing the area for the raised beds to be installed.

Fencing has gone up. raised beds are installed and hopefully will be blooming soon.

May 2005 - Official opening of the garden. The garden was opened by Peter Horrick ( from NSALG)
