有人喝過澳洲 Wolf Blass "Black Lable"嗎?

八十四年底我曾在誠品喜恩乳酪專賣店買了兩瓶91年份該酒,至今尚未開飲,當時是在 喜恩金老板力薦下買的, 金先生曾多次品嘗該酒,Thomas兄似可找誠品敦南店喜恩金先 生談談,一般酒書,包括Parker及Wine Spectator的Buyers Guide對該酒均無甚著墨,Thomas兄 或眾先進若有該酒資料請批露同享.

Wolf Blass Cab. Sau.-Shiraz "Black Lable"由於它一年只產2000箱， 喝過的人不多，酒評資料不易找到，但可確定的是它是澳洲的頂級限 量紅酒之一。此酒係精選來自McLaren Vale, Coonawarra, Clare Valley三個地區的葡萄釀製，並在橡木桶中醇化30個月，每年Cab. Sau.與Shiraz的比例並不固定，有時差異很大；例如92'年份Cab. Sau.高達92%，但94'年份Cab. Sau.只用了60%。不過據資料顯示此酒 是屬於濃郁厚重型，W.S.有92' Black Lable的評分:89分, US$40(與另 一支澳洲好酒92' Penfold's Bin 707同價)，91'理應與92'差不多。日本 一家酒店1994 Black Lable的售價為日幣9088，約為該店94' Opus One的50%，另一家英國酒店1992 Black Lable的價格更高達91' Grange的50%(有點誇張)；國內有93'年份，訂價NT$1800。以下是 W.S.給于92' Black Lable的酒評:

Rich, ripe, round and warm, with a generous bead of spicy black cherry, chocolate and coffee flavors that swirl beautifully through the supple finish. Approachable now, better in 1998 or later.

Wine Spectator's:

Chateau La Mission-Haut-Brion (score:95)

Excellent winemaking is evident here. A big wine with wonderful wet stone, berry and leafy aromas and flavors and ultrafine tannins. Drink after 1996. (7000 cases produced)

Ramonet 1994 Puligny-Montrachet Champ Canet (score:89)

Clean and well made, the ripe fruit is overshadowed by the spicy, toasted oak now. Full-bodied and complex, it should turn more harmonious around 2000.

Dow 1977 Vintage Port (score:94)

Impressively hard and powerful, but very closed for the moment. It should age for many decades. Dark ruby, with rich raspberry and earth aromas, full- bodied, with an excellent balance of full tannins and generous berry flavors.

Graham 1977 Vintage Port (score:90)

This wine is going through a dumb period at the moment. It is closed and not giving much on the palate. It is still a big, hard and tightly knit wine. Deep purple-ruby, with intense floral,cassis and prune aromas, full-bodied, with plenty of fruit.

1990 la Mission Haut Brion Pessac Leognan (score:94)

Surprisingly, the 1990 La Mission-Haut-Brion performed nearly as well as the 1989. Three of the tasters in the group of seven who participated in this blind tasting rated it higher than the 1989. I make this point because I think the 1990 is improving in the bottle, similar to the evolution of the 1990 Haut- Brion. The 1990 La Mission performed well-above my original score of 92. The wine is ostentatious, with a sweet, spicy, cedary, fruitcake, roasted black fruit-scented nose, admirable richness, a juicy, succulent, voluptuous texture, gobs of fruit and glycerin, low acidity, and a full-bodied, layered finish. This splendidly chewy, intense La Mission-Haut-Brion will come close to matching the quality of the legendary 1989. It will continue to drink well for another two decades.
