Rosters

Players are acquired primarily through a draft process. Each roster will consist of 18 active players. In addition, a reserve roster spot is available on each team s roster. This roster spot can be used for any reason. A player on reserve must be activated before becoming eligible to start. Owners will select eight starters each week as follows:

  • 1 Quarterback
  • 2 Running Backs
  • 2 Wide Receivers
  • 1 Tight End
  • 1 Place-kicker
  • 1 Defense/Special Teams

The remaining players can be from any position. Keep in mind, however, that each NFL team has one bye week, so you may want to have back-ups at each position.

Draft

Representatives of team owners will convene at a mutually agreed upon location on Sept 4th at 10am. Teams will draft in a serpentine manner throughout the fantasy selections.

Drafting will actually commence via e-mail and telephone on Monday August 30th and continue, so as to save time on Draft Day. So be prepared when your team is up.

Note: On draft night, a strict two minute time limit will be imposed. If this time limit is exceeded, the next team has an opportunity to draft ahead. The penalized team can still make its selection anytime thereafter. Each team is granted one 1-minute extension, upon request.

Point Structure

Quarterbacks, Running Backs, Wide Receivers, and Tight Ends

Offensive TD (rushing/receiving/fumble recovery) = 6 points

2-pt conversion rushing/receiving = 2 points

TD pass = 4 points

2-pt conversion pass = 1 point

Interception = -1 point

Rushing and receiving yardage are combined

  • Individual receives one point for every 10 yards of combined yardage.
  • Two bonus points are awarded for every 100 yards rushing or receiving (not combined)

Passing yardage points are calculated as follows:

    • Individual receives one point for every 25 yards
    • One bonus point is awarded for every 50 yards over 200 passing yards

Place-kicker

Point after TD = 1 point

Field Goal = 3 points

Bonus: 35 - 49 yards = 1 point

50 yards and up = 2 points

Defense / Special Teams

Touchdown = 6 points

Safety = 2 Points

Turnover = 2 points

Sack = 1 point

Points earned based on points allowed by defense as follows:

Shutout = 10 points

2 - 9 = 5 points

10 - 19 = 2 points

20 - 29 = 0 points

30 - 39 = -2 points

40 and up = -5 points

Roster Additions

Teams can add players on a first come, first served basis before the season begins. After Week 1, priority on additions will be in a reverse order of record basis through Wednesday at 5:00 pm (i.e. if multiple teams want the same player, the team with the worst record has priority). If a team wishes to add multiple players, they must be prioritized. The worst team will not necessarily get both players, as it only has priority on one player at a time. Thursday through Saturday, additions are first come, first served.

Weekly Lineups

Weekly team lineups must be called or e-mailed to the League Secretary or Designee by Saturday at 6:00 pm Pacific Time in most cases. Exceptions may come as a result of Thursday or Saturday games. If one of your players is performing on one of these days and he was not in your starting lineup the previous week, the League Secretary s Office must be notified before kick-off that you intend to play him. If you do not want to start a player performing on one of these days that was in your previous week s starting lineup, you must also notify the League Secretary, otherwise that player will be considered part of your starting lineup for that week also. The League Secretary's weekly lineup will be given to a neutral third party owner.

Failure to submit a lineup by these deadlines will result in playing the same lineup as the previous week, regardless of injury or bye status. If you fail to submit lineups in time for Week 1, your top draft picks for the appropriate positions will be used for you, regardless of injury or contract status.

Trades

Trades will be allowed up to the NFL trading deadline, TBA at a future date.
