Receiving Christ as your Saviour and Lord

1. The Purpose of God in your Life - Abundant Life.

* God loves you (John 3:16) and

* Wants you to experience, now and forever, a full meaningful life (John 10:10).

2. The Problem of your Life - SIN!

* Mankind chose to disregard God and go his own way (Romans 3:23). This is SIN.

* Mankind's sin caused him to be separated from God (Romans 6:23).

3. The Provision of God in your Life - Jesus Christ.

* Christ died on the cross to pay the penalty of sin (Romans 5:8).

* Christ is the ONLY way to God (John 14:6, 1 Peter 3:188).

* God offers Eternal Abundant Life in Christ as a gift (Romans 6:23) but you must love him...

* As a sinner, you need Christ to come into your Life.

* As a Christian, you need Christ to control all your life.

4. The Prayer

* Romans 10:9, 13:4, Rev. 3:20, John 1:12

Dear Lord, I know I have done wrong. I am willing to turn away from my SINS. I believe Jesus Christ died for me. Please come into my life and forgive me of my sins. I receive you into my life as my Saviour and Lord. I am willing to do whatever you want me to do. Make me strong so that I will never be ashamed of you. Amen!
