Fantasy (1995) Fantasy fue el esperado primer sencillo de su disco "Daydream".Se lanzó en septiembre de 1995 e hizo su debut en el #1 del Billboard, convirtiéndose en su noveno hit. Fantasy vendió en su primera semana más de 228 mil copias y estuvo durante 8 semanas consecutivas en el primer lugar. Además con este debut Mariah pasó a ser la segunda artista en la historia que aparecía en esta posición. La popular canción rompió records en todas partes del mundo llegando a vender más de 2 millones de copias del sencillo en Estados Unidos. Fantasy fue la primera vez que Mariah trabajó con el rapero Sean Puffy Combs "Puff Daddy" y juntos crearon la espectacular versión remix de Fantasy con Ol' Dirty Bastard. Además marcó el debut de Mariah como directora, pues ella estuvo al mando del videoclip. En la entrega de los Blockbuster Awards de 1996, Fantasy fue distinguido como la canción favorita del año.
