Match 23: Steel Souls

Edward Elric                          VS                      Ichigo Kurosaki

"Finally I'm back in the spotlight. I'm Koto from Yu Yu Hakusho fame and I'm here to keep you up to date on the bloodshed and decapitations! Welcome our next two fighters! Entering from the west gate and hero to many, fantasy to the girls in the front row. It's Edward Elric! From the east gate is sustitute shinigami, Ichigo Kurosaki!" Ichigo:"I can't believe I have to fight a 'little person'... I wonder if I should hold back or maybe use a blindfold? hmmm." Ed:"WHAT?! Who're you callin LITTLE!!!!!??? How dare you say I'm smaller than a grain of rice, I'm gonna breakdown your body and put your head on your ass you orange haired hippie!" Ichigo:"That's not what I said and besides, you're getting all worked up over nothing geez. You're gonna end up having a heart attack or something." (Bell)

"Ed is definately pumped and ready to go. He claps his hands and form a steel blade from his arm and charges into battle. Ichigo dodges the first strike then sidesteps the downward thrust. He then retreats backwards while Ed continues to slash and yell at him. Ichigo draws his sword and with a massive swipe slices Ed's blade in half. Now he's the one going on the defensive. He barely stays a step ahead of Ichigo and after a leap backwards, slips and ends up on the ground.

He rolls to avoid bing stabbed then slams his palms together then to the ring, creating tendrils of concrete to grab Ichigo's legs and hold him. Ed then forges a spear and attempts to stab him from a distance. Ichigo grabs the blade of it and breaks it with his bare hand then slashes the ground to free himself. Ichigo uses a flash step to get behind Ed then attacks. Without any hope of escape Ed stops the swing of Ichigo's blade with his hands and as his blood drips he transmutes the sword 'Scar's style' and stops after breaking the matter apart, leaving the sword in pieces on the ground! Ichigo freaks out as he stares at the handle in his hand.

All the while Ed extended his metal arm into another short blade and slices Ichigo in a deep upward arc sending a small splash of blood into the air glistening in the sun. He then kicks Ichigo with his metal leg, knocking him at least ten feet away. Ichigo lands on his feet and runs in a furious rage, wildly swinging at Ed. Edward creates a concrete hammer and nails Ichigo in the face sending him flat on his back. He is slow to move but isn't out of this thing yet. Ed slams his hands to the ground once again, this time forming two moving statues that resemble his brother's armor. Ichigo recovers then attacks but is tackled by both statues. While he fights them off Ed creates a gigantic canon aimed directly at his enemy. The statues hold him still while Ed gets ready to fire and win this one with style.

Ichigo oozes with power and breaks free. Ed fires a massive canonball too big to dodge! Ichigo focuses his energy into the hilt and his Zangetsu blade reforms in time for him to slice the canon ball in two! Ed looks utterly surprised. Ichigo cuts down one statue then performs an uppercut with the blade sending the remaining statue into space. Ed prepares to fire again but Ichigo beats him to the punch, firing off a crescent shaped blast of his own. It tears the canon to shreds!" Ichigo:"This has gone on long enough, I won't be further embarased by the likes of you!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!" "Ichigo increases his speed and slices Ed twice across his real leg then fires another blast to seal the deal but Ed creates a shield from the ground at the last possible second. He then creates a hole under Ichigo but it's too late, Ichigo used his bankai and appears behind Ed for a final upclose and personal intense blast ripping Ed's very flesh off and turning him to dust!

The Winner: Ichigo Kurosaki!!!!!"
