We woke up pretty early and went to the dining room and ate breakfast. There were no assigned seats for breakfast so we were able to meet some new people. Several of our friends had already eaten breakfast and were up on deck. We were getting ready to dock in Nassau.

We sat up on the top deck watching as the ship docked then we all headed down to the get off to go into Nassau. It was pretty crowded while we waited because it seemed like every one was getting off first thing. We finally got off the ship and decided to walk around the shops first. Jerry, David, Debbie, Pastor Hays and Jane left together. There were taxi drivers and people wanting to take us places, braid our hair and other things. It was pretty wild. We walked down several of the streets and went into shop after shop. They had t shirts everywhere, Bahama's souvenirs, jewelry and anything you could imagine. We didn't make it to the straw market but I heard that it was pretty cool.

Some of our friends took tours of celebrity homes and went to Atlantis early. But, we decided to go back to the ship and eat a buffet lunch. Then, after lunch we went to Atlantis. We made a deal with a taxi driver to take us all for $3 a piece. There were eight of us, Pastor Hays, Jane, David, Debbie, Calvin, Catherine, Jerry and Me. I really liked Atlantis. I really enjoyed it. There were huge glass sculptures and beautiful artwork every where. It looked like a palace to me. We did not go inside the aquariums but enjoyed looking at the fish from inside the hotel. I was impressed to say the least but of course I am easily impressed especially with a hotel that costs from $295 to $25000 a night. I almost lost my camera which would have been a tragedy to me because I left it on a table when I bought a shirt in one of the shops. We were almost to the ferry landing when I realized it was missing. God was watching out for me because I ran back to the shop and my camera was sitting right there and I didn't even miss the ferry.

When we made it back to the ship, we had to rush to get ready for dinner. It was formal night so we had to get dressed up and did not have a lot of time. It worked out and we all made it. We had filet mignon and duck for dinner. I think this was my favorite night of the cruise. It was fort of like going to the prom. There were several couples that had anniversaries in either May or June so we all got cakes and they sung to us. It was fun.

After dinner we changed clothes and hung out on the deck by the pool for a while. They were having a game show called the "Love and Marriage" game and a bunch of us decided to go check it out. Jerry and I got a ticket to play but we really didn't want to play but believe it or not it was the first ticket they called. So, we gave our ticket to John and Kathy Brock because they did want to play. Then, another couple that was with us Chuck and Tracy Orr were the next couple called. That was pretty cool out of probably a few hundred people two couples were from our group. The third couple selected were hand picked because they were having their 50th anniversary on the cruise. The game was a lot of fun. In the end, it was a tie but they all went home winners. Then they played the video over and over again on the cruise tv.

After the Love and Marriage game we watched a Hawaiian comedian perform. He did impersonation and was really good. There was a midnight buffet on the pool deck so we went up there as soon as we were finished. We hung out, danced in the line dancing and just relaxed. By the time, we were ready to go back to our cabin it was almost 2 am. It had been a busy but fun day. This was my favorite day of the cruise.
