EDINBURG VOLUNTEER FIRE & RESCUE DEPARTMENT
TANKER 267
Tanker 267 is particularly vital to a rural fire department
because we don't have the luxury of city water hydrants. 267 is
an International Truck chassis with a 2200 gallon water tank.
Engine 267 is equipped with a portable drop tank which is set
up next to a pumper at a fire, the 220 gallons of water are dumped
into the drop tank for use by the pumper, and 267 can immediately
run for more water. In cases of a large or demanding fire, surrounding
departments send their tankers in mutual aid to continually deliver
water in a tanker shuttle operation.

THIS IS THE "BUSINESS" END OF 267!
